Duties and Responsibilities The Project Architect will be responsible for translating projectrequirements and specifications into clear, concise and detailedproject documents As a member of the Design team, the Project Architect will helpconvey effective building ventures from the design concept throughthe completion of construction Support and guide team members within a team-buildingenvironment Coordinate with Project Manager at the onset of Design Developmentregarding design concept and scope Review Milestone schedule with PM to confirm schedule andcommitment of content at various Milestones Be responsible for the technical content of the projectdocuments Coordinate with the entire design team including coordination ofspecifications with the documents Be Responsible for managing and coordinating the Design / BuildMEPFP Consultant Team Manage and participate in QC reviews Coordinate with Construction PM during Construction Manage construction phase site visits Manage RFI and shop drawing distribution and tracking with theProject Lead Coordinate with Permit Coordinator for document management,submittals, etc. (includes drawings, RFI and Shop Drawings) Coordinate with Field Services Manager regarding constructionstatus and ongoing construction issues Pursue solutions to assigned tasks and develops appropriateresearch and documentation to support these solutions. Create and uphold client assurance in our team and operations bysustaining a high quality of proficiency, responsibility, andexecution Contribute to presentations of plans and documents to governing andpermitting authorities for land use, zoning and permitapprovals Qualifications You have earned a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture froma NAAB accredited program. You have 5+ years of experience with at least 3+ years focused ondesign and planning preferred. Experience with large-scale multi-family, hospitality, studenthousing or commercial projects is required. Architectural license required. You are more than proficient in Revit and AutoCAD. You’re an innovative thinker with the ability to articulate andpresent creative ideas. You have the ability to provide high class, responsive designsolutions and documentation for construction in a range of styleswith a proven ability to deliver excellent client service. You demonstrate excellence in 3-D building massingconceptualization. You have the ability to work individually and as a team member. You have excellent organizational and multitasking skills. You have strong verbal communication skills and the ability toperform in client presentations. You are energetic, ambitious and with a strong work ethic toconsistently meet project design and performance goals.
