The Role:
Because we are a small firm, all our employees are expected to be involved in almost every aspect of the production, management, and marketing processes. We’re seeking a Project Architect to serve primarily as a project leader in our Nashville studio. This key position combines architectural expertise with project management responsibilities, overseeing multiple project teams and maintaining our high standards of warm modern design. You’ll manage a portfolio of up to 25 concurrent projects while supervising a team of architects and architects in training (AIT), ensuring efficient project delivery and maintaining our collaborative studio culture. This role would include management, architectural design, drawing, and some marketing responsibilities.

They would possess the critical thinking skills to critique design and seek to improve production, and management systems currently in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate multiple architectural projects from concept through construction. Conducting on-site observations and coordinating with contractors. Manage and guide a team of up to 3 Interns/Draftsmen/Architects in Training (AIT) Oversee project schedules, resources, and budgets across residential and/or commercial projects Drive client relationships and communication, ensuring project goals and timelines are met Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle Implement and maintain project management protocols using our digital tools Review and approve technical documentation while maintaining design integrity Balance workload distribution across team members to optimize efficiency Guide projects through municipal approval processes Ensure quality control and consistency across all deliverables Participate in business development initiatives and client presentations Monitor project profitability and resource allocation
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of architectural design experience Accredited degree in Architecture (Bachelor’s or Master’s) Licensed Architect in the state of Tennessee Strong proficiency in BIM software Strong proficiency in Adobe Products Demonstrated experience in construction documentation Excellence in 3D modeling (Sketchup or Rhino) Strong understanding of building codes and zoning regulations Outstanding communication and collaboration skills Portfolio showcasing modern design sensibility Background in residential and commercial projects Experience in specification writing and product research
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ArchiCAD Proficiency in Twinmotion and Unreal Engine Experience with project Monograph a plus Photography skills a plus Video Editing a plus
