The Successful Candidate:
If you are looking for an exciting new place to grow, HBG Design is seeking an experienced Project Architect with the ability to balance design, project management, and technical goals. This position requires specialized proficiency in effectively leading, organizing, implementing, and completing technical documentation for assigned projects, and will work collaboratively with project teams to fulfill our clients design visions accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for project detailing, documentation, and process improvement.
The Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate with designers, project managers, and other team members including external consultants, to assist in the development of our projects, according to a specific project work plan reflecting firm goals of excellence in design and execution. Conduct regular reviews of project documentation and project schedule with the Project Manager. Provide day-to-day guidance to technical staff in the performance of their duties. In concert with Project Designer, determine what types of construction materials and methodologies will be used in the documentation of a building. Manage and oversee the quality and content of project construction documents (plans and specifications), including Revit process management and Revit content management. Resolve complex technical/design issues and provides guidance to team and consultants. Facilitate and review all consultant RFI responses and ASI packages.
The Required Qualifications:
Licensed Architect with 10 years minimum practical experience. Experience in hospitality, gaming, and/or entertainment projects is preferred. Four (4) or five (5) year architecture degree from an accredited program. Knowledge of building technology, as demonstrated by self-produced documents and communication of the design process. Knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures. Ability to collaboratively identify and resolve complex technical and design-related issues and cultivate innovative design solutions. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
The Compensation:
$85,000 – $125,000 per year. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, regional cost of living, experience, and qualifications.
