Asphalt Paving Foreman Richard Baughn Construction, Inc. 5274 Highway 226, Jonesboro, AR 72404 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman to lead our asphalt paving crew. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Foreman will act as a liaison between management and the workforce, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers on-site. Interpret and implement project plans, specifications, and blueprints. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards to maintain a safe work environment. Utilize construction management software to track project progress and manage schedules effectively. Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met. Manage project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency. Collaborate with project managers to develop timelines and address any issues that arise during construction. Train new employees on safety practices, equipment usage, and job responsibilities. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to paving projects. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Strong skills in project scheduling and budgeting to ensure projects stay on track financially and temporally. Ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment. 5+ years experience as a asphalt paving foreman. Know the ins and outs of starting and finishing a paving project including the equipment and crew needed to get the job done safely and efficiently.
