Collaborate closely with the paving crew to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively. Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet specifications for grade, slope, and thickness of the asphalt layer. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Operate company vehicles to transport materials or equipment to job sites as needed. Operate the screed for smooth takeoffs and transitions. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning. Assist the paving foreman with layout and planning.
