This position involves operating heavy machinery for asphalt paving and parking lot maintenance projects. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring efficient operations and high-quality results. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, pavers for various projects. Monitor and adjust machine settings to meet specifications for grade, slope, and thickness of the asphalt layer. Assist in the installation of asphalt surfaces, ensuring quality standards are met. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or maintenance setting. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL Class A) preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
