Asphalt Crew Deme Construction LLC Sarasota, FL 34243 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Asphalt Laborers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various heavy equipment and a strong work ethic. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, performing tasks related to landscaping, construction, and maintenance of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Laborer will contribute to the successful completion of projects by utilizing their skills in heavy equipment operation and landscape construction. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, graders, and loaders to assist in landscaping projects. Perform paving tasks as required for pathways, driveways, and other surfaces. Ensure safety protocols are followed while operating equipment and performing manual labor. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and reporting any issues. Assist with site preparation including grading land and clearing debris. Skills Proficiency in heavy equipment operation including bulldozers, front loader trucks, dump trucks, backhoes, graders, and loaders. Ability to pave surfaces with precision and attention to detail. Experience in building landscape features using various materials. Strong understanding of safety practices related to heavy machinery operation. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
