Details:

50+ Hours a week Monday through Friday with some Saturdays $12-20 an hour DOE and level of skill Job Duties Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project/jobsite. Able to work outdoors in extreme conditions, such as cold, heat, and humidity. Pushes and pulls asphalt rake to level asphalt to fine grade specifications. Uses sledgehammer to drive pins, uses pick and shovel to dig. Smooths freshly poured asphalt, shovels asphalt, or other materials. Hooks up trailers, fastens attachments to equipment. Flagger duties setting up traffic control, placing barrels and cones. Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management. Able to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and overtime as needed. Required/Desired Experience At least 1 year of previous experience in asphalt road construction. Has basic knowledge and ability with asphalt road construction. A sound understanding of safety guidelines. Solid transportation to and from job sites. Capacity to provide and follow direction. Manually lift/carry 50-100 lbs. Stand, walk, sit, kneel, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time. Ability to perform all required tasks during all weather conditions (hot/cold), and to work extended hours, as needed. •Note – This job posting is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
