Lead Paver Operator LMM Asphalt, Inc Middleboro, MA 02349 Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Operator to oversee operations on our asphalt projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and concrete work, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires leadership abilities, as you will be responsible for guiding a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Work is available year-round. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. Operate heavy equipment, including loaders and pavers, to facilitate paving tasks. Oversee asphalt projects Manage operations to ensure timely delivery of materials. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards. Provide training and support to team members in heavy equipment operation and construction techniques. Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Experience Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with loaders pavers Familiarity with commercial vehicle operation is preferred. Experience in asphalt work is essential Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a construction environment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
