This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe plant environment, operating support equipment including water trucks and dump trucks, and assisting with the routine servicing and lubrication of plant machinery. Duties/Responsibilities Site Housekeeping Perform routine cleaning and debris removal around the plant site, including under conveyors, near stockpiles, and in loading/unloading areas. Maintain walkways, platforms, and work areas free of obstructions and buildup to ensure safety and efficiency. Equipment Maintenance Support Assist with greasing, oiling, and inspecting mechanical components such as conveyors, crushers, screens, and silos. Report any visible damage, malfunction, or unsafe condition of plant equipment to the Plant Foreman. Water Truck Operation Operate a water truck to control dust across haul roads, stockpile areas, and plant access points. Ensure water truck is properly filled and maintained to deliver adequate coverage for dust suppression. Dump Truck Operation Drive dump truck to remove excess material and clean out waste aggregate or asphalt. Assist with stockpile management and transportation of material on-site as needed. Safety & Compliance Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols and procedures. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on site. Participate in routine safety meetings and contribute to a culture of proactive risk awareness. Minimum Requirements, Abilities and Expectations Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred for dump truck operation) High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in a heavy industrial, construction, or plant environment Ability to operate heavy equipment including water and dump trucks Working knowledge of basic mechanical systems preferred Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, noise, and moving mechanical parts Requires walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods Schedule may include overtime, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays, depending on production demands Core Competencies Drive for
