The ideal candidates will have a passion for construction and a strong work ethic. This role involves working on various construction sites, utilizing heavy machinery, and contributing to the successful completion of paving projects. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and possess a commitment to safety and quality. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, graders, dump trucks, backhoes, and loaders to prepare surfaces for asphalt paving. Assist in the paving process by ensuring materials are applied correctly and efficiently. Conduct utility locating to avoid damage to underground services during construction activities. Collaborate with team members to build and maintain safe construction sites. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Proficiency in operating heavy machinery including Caterpillar equipment, graders, dump trucks, backhoes, and loaders. Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience in utility locating is a plus but not required. A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
