Asphalt Paver Operator 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Summerville, SC 29486 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee asphalt paving projects and ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in pipeline projects and familiarity with industry standards such as OSHA regulations. As a Supervisor, you will lead a team of workers, manage project schedules, and maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process. Duties Oversee the day-to-day operations of asphalt paving projects Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders Develop project plans and schedules Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship Supervise paving crews and provide guidance and training Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications Manage project budgets and control costs Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during the project Prepare reports and documentation for project progress Requirements Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites. Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings related to construction projects. Experience in pipeline construction is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise on-site. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management.
