Asphalt Laborer Paveway Asphalt LLC Rocky Top, TN 37769 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Asphalt Paving & Maintenance Laborer to join our team on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the execution of tasks onsite, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a sometimes loud, dirty, and weather intense environment. Duties Assist in paving activities and ensure proper material handling on construction sites. Operate heavy equipment. Clean driving record & ability to pass drug screening. Support the operation of dump trucks for transporting materials to and from job sites. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations. Skills Proficiency in operating various heavy equipment, including skidsteer, paver, roller, etc. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures, loading/unloading equipment. Ability to communicate clearly with others. Physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks throughout the day: lifting, stretching, reaching, bending down, pushing/pulling, climbing, stability of uneven surfaces., wtc. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards are met consistently.
