Role:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Paver Operator.

This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the asphalt paver and ensuring a smooth, consistent mat that meets all specifications. If you’re experienced in paving and take pride in quality workmanship, we’d love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate asphalt paver to lay material accurately and uniformly.

• Coordinate with dump truck drivers, screwmen, and ground crew to ensure continuous paving flow.
• Monitor paver speed, head of material, and overall mat consistency.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on the paver.
• Adjust settings based on job specs and site conditions to maintain optimal performance.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating an asphalt paver in commercial or residential applications.

• Strong knowledge of paving operations, equipment capabilities, and quality control.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including hot weather and long hours.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with various paver makes and models.

• Familiarity with grade and slope control systems.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues.
