Role:

We are seeking an crew. As a key member of the team, the Screwman plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and smoothness of the asphalt mat behind the paver. If you take pride in precision and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the screed controls on the asphalt paver to maintain proper depth, slope, and crown. Work closely with the paver operator and other crew members to ensure seamless paving operations. Monitor material flow and make real-time adjustments for smooth and even asphalt placement. Ensure quality control of mat texture, compaction, and grade. Conduct pre•and post-operation checks and assist with equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

Proven crew. Strong operations and screed control systems. Ability to interpret grades and adjust screed accordingly. Willingness to work in physically demanding conditions and varying weather. Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends, as needed. Dependable with a positive team attitude and strong communication skills. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with various screed types and paver models. Familiarity with automatic grade and slope control systems. OSHA certifications or other construction safety training.
