Asphalt Worker 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 889 Sugarloaf Lane, Seymour, TN 37865 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Asphalt Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of asphalt paving and construction site operations. This role involves working with heavy equipment and ensuring the highest standards of quality on the job site. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, skid steers, and excavators. Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and ensuring proper grading for asphalt application. Pave surfaces with asphalt, ensuring smoothness and adherence to specifications. Maintain equipment in good working condition by performing routine inspections and minor repairs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites as needed. Qualifications Experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dump trucks, pavers, skid steers, or excavators is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site. A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory. Pay depends and ranges based on experience
