Job Description
Boilermakers:
Construct, assemble, maint & repair boilers, tanks, & pressure vessels on ships. Interpret blueprints, layout drawings & schematics. Fabricate metal components using shears, rollers, & bending machines. Weld, bolt, or rivet parts into leak-proof assemblies. Install boiler systs onboard vessels, connect piping, valves & fittings. Inspect for wear/corrosion, perf repairs, pressure testing & ensure compliance w/ safety stndrds. Follow OSHA & Coast Guard safety protocols. 2 yrs exp in boilermaking or heavy metal fabrication req’d. $76,336/yr.
