This role involves leveraging advanced diagnostic tools to fine-tune combustion systems, working with renowned controls like Fireye, Siemens, Honeywell, and Allen Bradley. You’ll engage with equipment from top brands such as Cleaver-Brooks, Hurst, PowerFlame, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting and repairing intricate systems, including 3 element feedwater, O2 trim, and fully metered systems, as well as selective catalytic reduction (SCR) units. Capability to read and amend logical block diagrams is essential. You must be adept at maintaining robust communication between devices using protocols like Modbus and Ethernet, and possess a comprehensive understanding of various burner designs. Travel is required within the U.S. for customer site visits. Strong expertise in PLC systems and burner management is necessary, in addition to a deep familiarity with industrial steam dynamics. Candidates should be well-versed in leading burner management systems and combustion control techniques, with a focus on achieving NOx reduction. Valid driver’s license, background check, and drug screening clearance are mandatory.
