The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials, including brick, stone and block to construct and repair structures. The Masonry Worker will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and layout. Construct, repair, and restore walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, stones, or concrete blocks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing masonry materials. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time and within specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience as a Masonry Worker or similar role in the construction industry. 5 years minimum Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in masonry work. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
