SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Stone and Brick Mason to join our team at George Pynn Masonry. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction and repair of commercial structures that involve brickwork, stonework, restoration, blockwork, precast, and veneer systems. As a Stone and Brick Mason you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship that aligns with our standards of excellence and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carves out and builds structures and surfaces with bricks or concrete blocks
• Places brick or concrete blocks on mortar bed
• Cuts or saws bricks to fit around windows and doors
• Measures distances to lay out work
• Mixes mortar and grout to be used to lay brick
• Spreads mortar onto brick or block surface with a trowel
• Examines brickwork to ensure structure is built correctly
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 + year of experience as a Stone or Brick Mason
• Experience in Masonry techniques and materials
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Familiarity with using power tools safely and effectively
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Preferred Requirements

• OSHA 10 Certification is required, but reimbursement can be provided
• 2+ years of experience in working in construction
• 2+ years of experience working on commercial projects.
