The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and related construction practices. This role involves working on various projects, including building, restoring, and finishing structures with a focus on quality and precision. The Mason will collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. Duties Construct, repair, and restore walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, blocks, and stones. Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Perform metal stud framing as needed for various construction projects. Lay tile and finish concrete surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics and durability. Apply plaster to walls and ceilings as part of finishing work. Work on roofing tasks when required, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely project completion. Experience Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields is essential. Familiarity with blueprint reading is necessary for understanding project layouts. Experience in metal stud framing is a plus. Knowledge of tile laying techniques and concrete finishing practices is preferred. Ability to work effectively on a construction site while adhering to safety regulations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
