The ideal candidate will assist masons in various tasks related to masonry work, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist masons with the preparation and mixing of mortar and concrete. Load and unload materials such as bricks, blocks, and stones. Set up scaffolding and other necessary equipment for masonry work. Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Support the construction team in tasks related to stucco application, concrete forming, and renovation projects. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Qualifications Experience or knowledge in masonry, concrete finishing, or related construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus. Ability to work with hand tools and power tools effectively. Skills in trim carpentry or welding are advantageous but not required. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A commitment to safety practices on the job site.
