We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Technician to join our growing team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, program, system start-up/check-out, certify, and customer training on assigned projects. Runs wiring, installs hardware, and field terminate all devices. Inspects and tests systems, batteries, and wiring; adjusts and repairs as required. Replaces malfunctioning hardware when necessary. Ensures installations comply with Stone Security Standards. Familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted, may require assistance with more complex specifications. Performs other related duties as required. Travel is required. As a Project Specialist, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Stone grows.
Qualifications/Skills:
One year of experience installing network camera systems (Milestone, Axis, Hanwha and Bosch) One year of experience installing security systems (DMP and Bosch) One year of experience installing access control systems (Lenel and S2). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Proven track record of leading a security installation team. Aptitude for networking, computers and general IT is preferred.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of related work experience required On-the-job training may be provided.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders. Physically able to install system hardware and wiring. Must be able to lift 35 lbs. at a time.
