!!!! Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including the ability to read blueprints and perform various construction tasks. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety on the job site. The Mason will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, block, and stone. Duties Construct walls, floors, and other structures using bricks, blocks, or stones. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications. Use hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Perform renovations and repairs on existing structures. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects. Execute metal stud framing as required by project designs. Estimate materials needed for construction projects accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety. Requirements Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in frame carpentry and hardscape installation. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Strong skills in blueprint reading and construction estimating. Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
