The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for construction, with experience in various tasks related to building and remodeling projects. This role involves working on construction sites, assisting with the installation of fixtures, cabinetry, and wood decks and steps, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of cabinets and fixtures according to project specifications. Perform remodeling tasks including demolition, framing, and finishing work. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper insulation and waterproofing. Operate construction tools and machinery safely and effectively. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on-site to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Follow safety protocols to minimize risks on the construction site. Having some tools and a truck a big plus. Experience Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cabinet installation, remodeling, caulking, wooden decks and steps, and fixture installation is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions is beneficial. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed. A willingness to learn new skills and techniques within the construction industry.
