un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Carpenter Helper (Opa-locka, Florida) compensation: $15.00/hr Please message 305-703-0177 “Carpenter” if you are interested Responsibilities Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and installing wood and other materials Load, unload, and move materials and tools to and from work areas Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and organizing materials Hold materials in place during installation (e.g., wood, drywall, framing) Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision Follow blueprints, sketches, or written/verbal instructions Support setup and breakdown of temporary structures (e.g., scaffolding, braces) Perform basic prep work such as sanding, nailing, or applying adhesives Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Requirements Previous experience in carpentry or construction is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Bilingual in English and Spanish Required. Basic understanding of power tools and safety practices in a construction environment. Ability to read schematics and follow instructions accurately. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
