⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Apartment Management Company Full Time Carpenter contractor $22.50/HR (NE St. Pete) ‹ image 1 of 6 › 100 38th ave n compensation: $22.50/hr employment type: job title: Carpenter Hiring for a full time (40 hours/ week) job as a carpenter handyman contractor working for a property management company specializing in small to mid size apartment communities in East St. Petersburg. Primary duty will be handling maintenance requests from tenants, and remodeling / renovating of units before rental.
Skills needed for carpenter are:
- General carpentry (kitchen cabinets, sink stands, base board install)
- Drywall patching/texturing
- Tile Work
- Flooring, Shower Surrounds, etc
- Basic electrical (installation of fixtures, dishwashers, etc).
- Basic plumbing (installing faucets, repairing/installing toilets)
- Some painting Preferable if you have your own tools. Must be willing to take direction, have a good attitude, and be a team player. Must have own transportation and be able to get to work in east St. Pete, and be able to deal with tenants and other employees and contractors doing construction. Communication is key
- since the job involves a variety of different situations and work depending on the day, the ideal candidate has patience and can work well with other employees that are onsite.
Also, MUST be punctual. Pay is $22.50 an hour, with periodical reviews with possibility for raise. Salary paid weekly, on Friday afternoons. Please live within 15 miles of St. Pete, zip code 33703.
