Summary As a General Carpenter at Founders Maintenance and Restoration, you will play a vital role in executing carpentry projects that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of various properties. This position is essential to our commitment to quality service and teamwork within our family-oriented culture. Responsibilities Perform various carpentry tasks including framing, remodeling, and door hanging. Read blueprints and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Install metal stud framing and tile as needed for renovations. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures to ensure safety and functionality. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and gaps in construction work. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all tasks. Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong skills in metal stud framing, remodeling, door hanging, and general carpentry techniques. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with tile laying is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Experience in the restoration industry is beneficial but not required.
