Carpenter Helper CDR General Solutions LLC Covington, LA 70435 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter Helper to assist with the construction and assembly of custom-built sheds. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, works well in a team, and is comfortable working with hand tools and power tools. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in carpentry and grow with a hands-on construction team. Responsibilities Assist in the building and installation of storage sheds, from framing to finishing Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and building materials Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe Support lead carpenters with daily tasks Use hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.) Follow safety procedures and instructions from supervisors Experience Previous experience in carpentry or construction is a plus but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry work. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong willingness to learn new skills and techniques within the carpentry field. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
