We are a growing at Milligan Construction and seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter Helper to join our team. As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist our skilled carpenters on a variety of projects, gaining valuable experience and developing your skills in the process. What you’ll do: Assist carpenters with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. Transport materials and tools to and from job sites. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow safety guidelines and procedures. Learn and apply new carpentry techniques and skills. Perform basic demolition and site preparation. Assist with the installation of fixtures and hardware.

What you bring:

A strong work ethic and a positive attitude and able to work in the heat. Pass a drug screen and background check. Reliability and punctuality. A willingness to learn and follow instructions. Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure (preferred). Ability to lift and carry heavy materials up to 75lbs Basic hand tool knowledge (a plus). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (may be required).
