Apprentice Woodworker – Urgent Hire 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Newburyport, MA 01950 As an Apprentice Woodworker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Operate all equipment as directed, but not before being instructed by the supervisor. Milling lumber, panel processing, ripping, crosscutting, sanding, all equipment/machinery functions (except shaper), case construction, laminating, solid woodwork, door construction, veneer work, gluing, and pressing. Learn woodworking techniques and stay informed on related shop technology. Be proficient at reading and working from blueprints accurately. This position does not require wood working experience, but it is highly preferred. Apprentice wood working programs are offered. This position is Monday-Friday, full time.
