As a Skilled Laborer, you will be involved in diverse projects that may include masonry, concrete forming, and restoration tasks. Duties Perform masonry work including bricklaying and stone setting. Execute concrete forming tasks to create structures such as foundations and slabs. Restore and maintain existing structures through repair and renovation. Fabricate components as needed for various construction projects. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Assist with tile laying to finish surfaces in residential or commercial buildings. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects. Engage in heavy lifting as required to move materials and equipment. Skills Proficiency in masonry techniques and practices. Experience with concrete forming processes. Ability to restore structures using appropriate methods and materials. Skilled in fabrication techniques relevant to construction needs. General maintenance person skills for various repair tasks. Capability of performing heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with power tools including saws, drills, and mixers. Understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures. Knowledge of tile laying techniques for effective surface finishing. Competence in reading schematics to guide project execution.
