Carpenter (Framing to Finish)
Location:
Greater Portland, Maine (includes travel to various job sites)
Work Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30
PM Hourly Rate:
$23-$30, based on experience #AeroJobsMEVT About the Role We’re hiring experienced carpenters to join our growing construction team in the Greater Portland area. This role involves working on a wide range of commercial projects, from initial framing to final trim and finish work. Our company specializes in diverse builds—including educational institutions and veterinary facilities—and we aim to assign team members to job sites near their homes whenever possible. This is a full-time position offering steady work, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package What You’ll Do Handle all phases of carpentry, from structural framing to detailed finish work Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints Measure, cut, and install materials with precision Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively Contribute to the construction of commercial buildings such as schools and clinics Work closely with fellow tradespeople and site supervisors to meet project goals Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship and job site safety What We’re Looking For Solid background in both rough and finish carpentry Familiarity with commercial construction environments Skilled in using carpentry tools and equipment Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications Strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various job sites Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $28.00/hr.
