Laborer / Helper / Carpenter Build different llc Sebago, ME 04029 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be able to work collaboratively on construction projects. This role involves both rough and finish carpentry, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Assemble and install structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting. Execute trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings and other decorative elements. Conduct fixture installation for both residential and commercial projects. Lay tile with precision, ensuring a high-quality finish. Plumb structures to ensure they are level and properly aligned. Engage in frame carpentry, constructing the framework for buildings or other structures. Carry out metal stud framing as needed for various projects. Install drywall efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Assist with basic electrical tasks as required on job sites. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in carpentry or labor-intensive roles is preferred. Familiarity with flooring installation techniques and materials. Knowledge of trim carpentry practices. Experience in fixture installation for various applications. Proficiency in tile laying methods and materials. Ability to plumb structures accurately during construction processes. Experience with frame carpentry techniques, including the use of hand tools and power tools. Understanding of metal stud framing practices is a plus. Basic knowledge of drywall installation procedures is beneficial. Familiarity with electrical work is an advantage but not mandatory.
