Job DescriptionResponsible for the construction, installation, and repairs of carpentry items and projects of small- to mid-level scopes.
Construct and finish items such as cabinets and work surfaces.
Install and perform repairs on cabinets, work surfaces, and the like.
Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
Create accurate material and cut lists for projects.
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
Perform all duties in accordance with departmental and/or Company safety policies and practices including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
QualificationsMust be at least 21 years of age.
Two (2) years of related experience, education, or an equitable combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
Must be able to carry out all duties in strict accordance with safety practices.
Physical requirements include but are not limited to extended periods of standing and walking, bending, reaching, grasping, kneeling, and lifting and using heavy/awkward items.
Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
