The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, including the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves working on various construction sites, performing tasks related to carpentry, concrete forming, fixture installation, and remodeling projects. The Carpenter/Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installing fixtures, and constructing structures. Engage in concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structures as needed. Fabricate and restore wooden structures and components as required by project specifications. Install stucco and metal stud framing as part of remodeling projects. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry is preferred. Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations. Ability to work with various materials including wood, metal, and concrete. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials.
