What You’ll Be Doing:

Perform a wide range of skilled carpentry tasks including framing, trim, cabinetry, door and window installation, drywall, insulation, and deck construction. Complete basic home repairs and maintenance tasks such as drywall patching, door hardware installs, and fixture replacements. Handle furniture and fixture assembly, hardware installation, and home improvement upgrades. Work confidently with light plumbing (e.g., faucets, drains) and light electrical (e.g., fixtures, switches, outlets). Install various types of flooring including laminate, hardwood, and tile, with strong attention to detail and finish quality. Carry out tile work for showers, backsplashes, floors, and other surfaces—experience with waterproofing and prep is a big plus. Read and follow blueprints and architectural drawings, ensuring work is completed to spec and in compliance with building codes. Work in occupied homes with professionalism, cleanliness, and respect for the client’s space. Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide expert recommendations. Adapt to shifting needs—pivoting between tasks and project types as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Skilled in many or all areas of home remodeling, repair, and maintenance. Proficient in carpentry with hands-on experience in doors, windows, decks, and finish work. Familiar with basic plumbing and electrical systems, able to perform light repair or installation tasks safely and accurately. Knowledgeable in tile work, flooring installation, and drywall repairs. Comfortable using a wide range of hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and nail guns. High level of professionalism and self-accountability when working in client homes—whether occupied or vacant. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative attitude and client-first mindset. Any additional specialty trades (e.g., custom cabinetry, staircases, exterior work, finish carpentry) are a huge plus. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and personal tools are required.
