The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various building techniques and materials, demonstrating proficiency in both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork, ensuring that all construction tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform frame carpentry, including the installation of walls, floors, and roofs. Execute drywall installation and finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces. Work with stucco applications for exterior finishes. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Carry out trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings and baseboards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Install siding materials on buildings as required by project specifications. Collaborate with construction management to ensure project timelines are met. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed during construction activities. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Experience Proven experience in construction or building roles is essential. Familiarity with stucco application techniques is preferred. Strong skills in frame carpentry, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and siding installation. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience with construction management practices is a plus. Physical capability for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods is required.
