un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Carpenter’s Helper Needed – Home Remodel 20-25 an hour (Winston Salem) compensation: 20-25 an hour based on experience employment type: experience level: entry level job title: Carpenter’s helper Carpenter’s Helper Needed – Home Remodel (Winston-Salem, NC) We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking handyman or carpenter’s helper for a home remodeling project in Winston-Salem, NC. This is a short-term opportunity for approximately one week (up to 40 hours depending upon worker availability) during May 5-11 with the possibility of additional work depending on progress.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with general carpentry and plumbing tasks
- Carry and move materials and tools as needed
- Work with basic hand and power tools (e.g., hammers, saws, drills)
- Support work both at ground level and in attic spaces
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean worksite
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of and some experience with tools and construction safety
- Comfortable working in attic spaces and lifting moderate to heavy materials
- Punctual, dependable, and able to take direction and complete an assigned task.
- Prior experience in construction or carpentry a plus but not required
