Description Carpenter Technicians will be performing a variety of tasks such as upfits of commercial office and warehouse spaces, integrating new structures with existing structures, repair and replace ceiling, flooring and drywall. Understand blueprints, sketches or building plans to determine dimensions and materials required for form, or framing, construction.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including uses, repair, and maintenance associated with carpentry and woodworking.
Knowledge of arithmetic, basic geometry, and their applications to carpentry.
Knowledge of basic building layout and leveling.
Ability to travel and accommodate night and weekend work as needed.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to comprehend safety instructions and signage, communicate effectively in emergencies and understand written safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $24.00/hr.
