The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction tasks and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves working on diverse projects including remodeling, new builds, and maintenance tasks. The Carpenter/Laborer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Perform remodeling tasks including framing, drywall installation, and flooring installation. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project deadlines are met. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations on job sites. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in construction painting techniques is a plus. Strong ability to build, plumb, and install various structures accurately. Familiarity with remodeling processes and techniques. Experience with mold remediation practices is advantageous. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Knowledge of flooring installation methods is beneficial. Basic electrical skills are desirable but not mandatory.
