Skilled Carpenter/Laborer JVC Construction Services, LLC 13 King Cole Road, Hamburg, NJ 07419 Job Overview We are currently seeking a skilled carpenter with strong experience in framing, general carpentry, and full-phase residential construction. this is a full-time position with consistent work. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in various construction tasks and a strong work ethic. This role involves working on construction sites, performing a variety of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects. Duties Perform all phases of residential construction, from framing work to finish work. Install doors, windows, stairs, cabinetry, flooring, and trim. Assist with site set-up, material take offs Be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines. Hang doors and complete trim carpentry work to enhance the aesthetics of the project. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless workflow. Maintain a clean and organized construction site, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize maintenance person skills for various repairs and installations as needed throughout projects. Experience Proven experience in flooring installation, metal stud framing, fixture installation, tile laying, door hanging, and trim carpentry is preferred. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
