Carpenter / Mold Builder Position Available In Albany, New York

Description Purpose/Scope:

To provide fabricate and supply quality forming materials to production crews for casting concrete products such as walls, beams, and columns. Mold materials include plastic, wood, and foam as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Set up, operate, and tend panel saws, chops saws, table saws, routers, wood-nailing machines, and/or other equipment as necessary. + From given dimensions in blueprint format ( castbooks /panel drawings), cut to fit and assemble forms for concrete products. + Verify dimensions tape measures/rules to 1/16th of an inch. + Add fasteners and adhesives and connect the pieces to form a complete unit. + Ensure wood isn’t warped, cracked, or swollen. + Deliver all finished products to the appropriate areas. + Clean daily and maintain continually a safe work environment.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch. + Wood-working skills and previous experience. + Ability to read plans.
