The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be able to work effectively on construction sites. This role involves working with hand tools, performing fixture installations, and ensuring that all work meets quality standards. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in the construction process, contributing to both residential and commercial projects. Duties Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications. Assemble and install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and cabinets. Perform tile laying and plastering tasks as required. Conduct mold remediation when necessary to ensure safe living conditions. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion. Utilize hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area on the construction site. Provide accurate construction estimating for project planning. Skills Proficient in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols. Ability to plumb structures accurately for proper alignment. Experience with fixture installation, including doors and cabinetry. Knowledge of tile laying techniques and plastering methods. Familiarity with mold remediation processes is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
