The Lead Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Installing window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim, Wall and roof framing, custom wood work, hardie-lap siding, Decks Lead a team of carpenters on construction projects Excellent leadership and communication skills Supervise and manage daily operations of the construction site, ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. Oversee project scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that all work is executed according to specifications. . Train and mentor team members in best practices for carpentry and construction management. Maintain accurate records of project expenses, labor hours, and material usage for budgeting purposes. Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly to minimize disruptions to the project timeline. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Strong skills in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and supervising teams effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
