The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framing, with the ability to construct and assemble structures using various materials. This role involves working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all framing is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties Construct and install frameworks for roofs, walls, and floors using wood, metal studs, or other materials. Build and install structures such as staircases, door frames, and window frames. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively and safely. Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations throughout all phases of construction. Assist in the application of stucco and plaster finishes as needed. Participate in concrete finishing tasks to complete foundations and slabs. Experience Proven experience in framing or carpentry is essential. Familiarity with metal stud framing techniques is a plus. Experience in construction management is beneficial for overseeing project progress. Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with construction work. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
