Previous experience in window treatment, awning, or draperies installation preferred but comparable carpentry or mechanical installation also applicable. Installation will take place primarily in the Lowcountry area (Savannah GA to Beaufort SC).

Duties and responsibilities:

Installation of Screens, blinds, shades, and shutters Perform window treatment repairs and adjustments Take before and after pictures of windows and treatments Show customers how to use their new treatments Clean customer premises when installation complete Receive customer payments and maintain proper installation paperwork Clean installation van/truck regularly and maintain as needed Measure, manufacture and install screen products

Job Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License Clean driving record Ability to drive a truck pulling a trailer Professional appearance Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology Team player who can work independently Experience with hand tools, drills, chop saw, etc. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide an all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Excellent customer service skills Problem solving skills/have common sense Take pride in what you do

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear. Regularly required to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders. Climbing a ladder or boom lift over 25ft Able to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time Able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and move it unaided 50 feet. Able to work outside. Communicate with customers about scope of work and cost estimates Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary inventory Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions Skills and abilities: Pleasant, professional, and friendly attitude Professional appearance Be willing and able to learn Familiarity with installation tools Excellent communication skills Creative problem-solver Able to lift up to 50 pound boxes Able to work on ladders up to 30 feet high Fluent in English Spanish Speaking is a plus This Job Is Ideal for

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and glass installation techniques
• Experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading
• Knowledge of fabrication, manufacturing, construction, and carpentry
• Ability to perform trim carpentry and heavy lifting tasks
• Familiarity with schematics and working with blinds, shades, and shutters
