Job Description:
As a commercial construction carpenter, you are an essential partof the construction industry. Your role involves various tasksrelated to the construction, renovation, or maintenance ofcommercial buildings. Commercial Carpenter Duties include, but are not limited to:
Framing:
May be responsible for constructing the framework ofcommercial buildings. This includes building walls, floors, andpartitions using wooden structural components such as guardrails,handrails, blocking, shoring, temporary walls, beams, studs,trusses, and joists.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Commercial carpenters may be responsiblefor inspecting and repairing existing wooden structures, fixtures,or components in commercial buildings. This includes assessingdamage, replacing, or repairing damaged materials, and ensuringstructural stability.
Safety and Compliance:
Following safety protocols to preventaccidents and maintain a safe work environment. You adhere toregulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance throughoutyour carpentry work. Ability to manage your time efficiently, meet project deadlines,and coordinate your tasks with other workers to ensure smoothprogress.
Qualifications:
Carry relevant carpentry knowledge and experience Own their own hand tools Have reliable, consistent transportation Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts Ability to lift approximately 35-40 lbs. Work within Federal, State and Local Regulations Strong attention to detail and safety protocols on constructionsites Be able to legally work within the United States Bilingual is a Plus A successful drug screening is required
