Siding Installation Team Leader Transform Charleston, LLC Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
Position Overview:
The Lead Siding Installer / Carpenter will be responsible for managing on-site siding installation and carpentry projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. You’ll lead a crew, coordinate with project managers, and help train junior team members while working hands-on with materials like fiber cement, vinyl, wood, and composite siding.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform siding installation, repairs, and exterior carpentry work Interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and manufacturer specifications Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and up to code Supervise and train crew members on best practices and safety protocolsCommunicate with project managers to track progress and address challenges Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sitesOperate and maintain tools and equipment responsibly
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in siding installation and general carpentry Proven ability to lead crews and manage job sitesStrong knowledge of various siding systems (e.g., James Hardie, LP SmartSide, vinyl, cedar) Proficient with hand and power tools Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
Preferred:
Experience with window and door installation Familiarity with building envelope systems and moisture management Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
