This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. The Carpenter/Laborer will work on a variety of construction sites, contributing to both residential and commercial projects. Duties Perform trim carpentry tasks, ensuring precise measurements and quality finishes. Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed on job sites. Work on roofing projects, including installation and repairs. Utilize power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Install drywall and ensure proper finishing techniques are applied. Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to industry standards. Apply caulking and sealing materials to ensure durability and weatherproofing of structures. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or related labor positions is preferred. Strong knowledge of trim carpentry techniques and practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods. Familiarity with roofing systems and installation methods is a plus. Proficient in the use of power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns. Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques is desirable. Understanding of remodeling processes and best practices is beneficial. Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions accurately.
